YASHU VURUPUTOOR, 2024 Mosaic Fellow
Prior to joining the Tuck School of Business for her MBA, Yashu Vuruputoor worked for CIBC's Innovation Bank as a Venture Debt Associate in the Life Sciences and Healthcare sectors. In this role, she gained experience in forming investment decisions and managing portfolios. She led due diligence and projection modelling on prospective clients and assessed poor liquidity runways to determine impacts of covenant defaults on the portfolio. Before CIBC, Yashu worked for Capital One as a middle market underwriter, after completing her training within the company’s Commercial Rotation Program and gaining experience in capital markets syndication and enterprise valuation along the way. Yashu earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations, as well as a Business Minor, from Cornell University. In her free time, Yashu enjoys doing archery, traveling, and hiking.
