STAPHANY HOU, 2024 Mosaic Fellow

Staphany is a first-year MBA candidate at The Wharton School, where she serves as an Investment Associate on the Health & Wellness team for Wharton Impact Investing Partners, Wharton's student-led impact investing group. She is currently working at Common Sense Growth, the venture investment arm of Common Sense Media focusing on early-stage EdTech investments. Prior to business school, Staphany worked at the Soros Economic Development Fund, the impact investment arm of Open Society Foundations. Prior to Open Society Foundations, Staphany worked as a private equity associate at Advent International, where she focused on buyout investments in the retail, consumer & leisure sector. She started her career at Bain & Company, working in the Private Equity Group and for medtech and healthcare clients. Staphany received a BA in Global Affairs from Yale University. She is excited to spend the summer working at Closed Loop Partners to support investments in the circular economy.
