LIA ROBERDS, 2023 Mosaic Fellow
Lia grew up in the Pacific Northwest where she developed a love for the outdoors and a passion for protecting the climate. She attended the University of Washington where she studied Industrial and Systems Engineering and was a student-athlete on the UW Rowing team where she led boats to three national championships. After UW, she spent 5 years working in operations, forecasting, and planning roles at Convoy (a startup in the trucking and logistics sector) as they scaled from Series A through E. She also spent 3 months with Mast Reforestation advising on operational and financial planning processes for scaling post-wildfire restoration projects. She is currently pursuing an MBA and MS in Environmental Resources at Stanford University where she is the most excited to learn about the opportunities for business to play a role in combating climate change and to learn about leading high performance organizations. In her free time, she can often be found skiing, backpacking, trail running through the mountains, or drinking wine in the sun with friends.
