IZZY NEWMAN-SANDERS, 2024 Mosaic Fellow

Izzy Newman-Sanders is a joint MBA and Master of Public Policy candidate at MIT Sloan School of Management and Harvard Kennedy School (HKS). Prior to graduate school Izzy worked at L.E.K. Consulting in London, supporting clients across business strategy and deal advisory. She also led Advance Pro Bono, a non-profit pro bono consulting firm affiliated with L.E.K., originating and staffing projects for non-profits and other forces for good. Over the last summer, Izzy interned with Bridges Outcomes Partnerships, a non-profit subsidiary of an impact investing firm, that provides project finance and management for the design and delivery of complex human and environmental services through outcomes-based contracts. At HKS, Izzy worked as a Research Assistant creating a working paper series on Harvard-wide research on Corporate Social Responsibility. At MIT, Izzy is on the leadership team for the Impact Investing Initiative and pursuing courses concentrating on entrepreneurship and sustainability. She is excited to work in impact investing because she believes in the power of mission-driven businesses to effect positive change, and is passionate about investing in founders pushing for equitable, sustainable development. She graduated from Oxford University with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and French.
