Garrett Jaso, Senior Manager, Communications & Policy

Garrett Jaso joined Impact Capital Managers as Senior Manager, Communications and Policy in January 2024. 

Prior to ICM, Garrett served as Manager of Communications at the Global Impact Investing Network. In this role, he was responsible for supporting GIIN content development, executive communications, public relations and thought leadership.

Before joining the GIIN, Garrett worked for the Center for Financial Inclusion (CFI) at Accion as a Research Specialist. While at CFI, Garrett served on the Investor Engagement and Research team, for whom he contributed to CFI’s research centered on the intersections between investment, social impact and governance.

Prior to CFI, Garrett served as a loan officer and state lead for Accion in the U.S. In that role, he led Accion’s expansion into Texas and developed targeted financial products for small and startup businesses. Upon graduating from university, Garrett volunteered with a microfinance non-profit in Mexico focused on supporting women entrepreneurs in the informal economy. Garrett has also worked on several political campaigns.

Garrett holds a BA in International Affairs and a minor in Finance from The University of Colorado, Boulder. He also holds a certificate in Public Policy Analysis from the London School of Economics. Garrett is fluent in English and Spanish.
