FARRUKH HAMZA, 2024 Mosaic Fellow

Farrukh Hamza is an MBA candidate at the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB), where he is an Arbuckle Leadership Fellow. His active involvement in the GSB community includes serving on the MBA Student Association Senate and contributing to the organizing committee of the GSB Climate, Business, and Innovation Summit. He is involved with the GSB Venture Capital, Private Equity, and Energy clubs.

Before pursuing his MBA, Farrukh gained extensive experience as an Engineering Team Lead and Data Scientist at Halliburton, where he contributed to various facets of the business, including operations, business development, marketing, software development, startup engagements, and technology due diligence. He has spoken at international conferences, chaired multiple technical sessions, co-authored over 20 industry publications, and patented 9 inventions. He is a licensed professional engineer in Texas. Farrukh's educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from NED University, a master’s degree in analytics from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a master’s degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He is an avid fan of basketball, Formula 1, and cricket and enjoys road trips with family and friends.
