ELAINE ZHANG, 2024 Mosaic Fellow
Elaine is a first year MBA student at the Wharton School. Prior to Wharton, Elaine was a senior business analyst at McKinsey & Company, where she worked on a variety of projects including hydrogen fuel cell growth strategy, ESG strategy, and impact measurement and reporting. At Wharton, Elaine is on the board and on the environment & sustainability investing team of Wharton Impact Investing Partners, and is also involved with the Sustainable Business Club, Energy & Climate Club, and Outdoors Club.
Elaine grew up in the Canadian Rockies where she first developed her love and passion for the environment. Elaine holds a B.ASc in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Entrepreneurship, where she worked on ventures related to solar cookstoves and energy storage. Outside of work and school, Elaine loves to ski, run, hike, and do ceramics. Elaine is excited to combine her engineering background, strategic skill set, and passion for sustainability towards her role in energy transition growth equity investing at Lime Rock New Energy this summer.
