DAVID CLARK GUILLERMO, 2024 Mosaic Fellow
David Clark Guillermo is a first-year MBA candidate at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Born in Mexico and raised in Minnesota, David spent his childhood summers traveling across Latin America. Struck by the economic disparity he witnessed on these trips and inspired by Muhammad Yunus, David interned at a small microfinance organization while studying Economics at Wheaton College (IL). After a brief stint as a social entrepreneur, David pursued investment banking at Goldman Sachs, where his interest in using early-stage capital to spur economic development grew. Prior to Kellogg, David worked as an operator in corporate development and strategy roles at Bird, helping lead teams through extreme growth and preservation periods. In his first year at Kellogg, he interned at Listen Ventures, an early-stage consumer VC fund in Chicago, where he developed an interest in B2C and B2B2C inclusive FinTech. Outside of work and school, David enjoys spending time with his English Cocker Spaniel, Canela; playing ice hockey and padel; and writing movie reviews on Letterboxd.
