Cassandra Duchan Saucedo
Cassandra is a 2020 Fellow at Impact Capital Managers.
Cassandra is a concurrent MPP-MBA candidate at Harvard Kennedy School and the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Currently, she is on the Equity Coalition Coordinating Team, co-chairs the Latinx Caucus and the Progressive Caucus, and is COO for the Black Policy Conference. In addition to her Fellowship at ICM, Cassandra is lead research intern at the Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts. She is an Ascend & Level up Mentor for Management Leadership for Tomorrw (MLT) and is herself an MLT Fellow, Harvard Zuckerman Fellow, and LunaCap Foundation Fellow.
Cassandra is a former senior research assistant at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, where she analyzed the Community Reinvestment Act, and has been a Kapor Capital intern with the LegalTech VC Fund. In 2016, she founded Safornia Strategies, a data visualization, evaluation and content strategy consulting firm.
She has an undergraduate degree in economics with honors from the University of Colorado Boulder. Following her time in school, she hopes to pursue a career fortifying Black and Brown communities through sustainable investments.
Cassandra was born and raised in Colorado, the proud daughter of a Black American father and a Mexican American mother. She enjoys camping, hiking, botany, nature photography, ballet, and hanging out with her dog.
