Andrew Garrett, Senior Analyst, Member Experience

Andrew Garrett joined Impact Capital Managers in September 2024 to enhance ICM’s member experience. With ten years of expertise in customer service and event management, and an MPA specializing in impact, innovation, and investment, Andrew is passionate about supporting impact investors and social entrepreneurs through collaboration and gatherings, advocacy and resource sharing.

Prior to ICM, Andrew worked as an impact strategy consultant at the Sorenson Impact Institute, a multi-sector social impact consultancy and producer of SOCAP Global. While at Sorenson, he worked with Utah state government agencies to drive change in early childhood systems and arts integrated learning. Concurrently, Andrew co-chaired the Social Innovation and Investment Alliance, an NYU graduate student group focused on impact, innovation, and investment. He led a board of 15 students in producing 17 events over the course of nine months. Andrew’s early career found him at New York Theatre Workshop, an Off-Broadway theater company, where he led education programs in three countries and six US states. Andrew also has experience at the United States Conference of Mayors, Covenant House International, Fountain House, and running his own organization.

Andrew holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at New York University, where he conducted his capstone project on improving IMM for Cause Strategy Partners, a consultancy which connects corporate employees to nonprofit board service. He also holds a BFA in Theater from Syracuse University. 

 In his free time, Andrew plays basketball, enjoys the outdoors, plans social gatherings, and builds relationships across divides through collaborative theater-making. He lives in New York City.
