ICM Deal Call: Investments in Environmental Sustainability x LIVE Pitches from Greentown Labs
December 10, 2:00 PM ET (Thursday)
Join fellow ICM members for a 2-hour session designed to accelerate investments in environmental sustainability. Hear about new deals, existing opportunities and interesting investment strategies, including from Geoff Eisenberg & Sasha Brown from Ecosystem Integrity Fund, who will share details on their investees, Complete Solar and Energicity. For the second half of the call (2-3PM ET), we will be partnering again with Greentown Labs, the largest climatetech startup incubator in North America. 3-4 companies from their current incubator will pitch in real-time to ICM members on the call, with ample time for members to ask questions and provide feedback. Participating companies include Kuva, Alloy, Verdox, and Sublime Systems.
Jopwell x ICM: Diving into DEI

During this 1-hour session, ICM members and their portfolio companies are invited to discuss DEI practices, ask hard questions, and learn from the experts at Jopwell about their experience and product. While DEI sits at the forefront of many conversations about how companies can improve their inclusive recruiting, hiring, and ongoing work, it can be challenging to distinguish optimal practices and tools. Join this webinar to hear from and engage with Jopwell, a leading career advancement platform for Black, Latinx, and Native American students and professionals and a well-known thought leader in the DEI space, assisting companies with their diversity recruitment, marketing, and retention efforts at scale.
This session is organized by SJF Ventures, an investor in Jopwell, and will be led by members of the Jopwell team, Devon Lee, PhD, Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Programs, and Darryl Shazier, Senior Manager, Partnerships. Webinar content will be geared towards leadership team members, as well as HR decision makers.

Hosted by our partners at Confluence Philanthropy, this event will convene "Belonging Pledge" signatories - investors representing over $1.8 trillion in assets - to discuss how they are putting their pledge to put racial equity investing on the agenda of their next Investment Committee meeting, into practice. As a Belonging Coalition founding member, Impact Capital Managers will be hosting a special session examing how private capital fund managers are working to effect meaningful change at the network, fund, and portfolio company level.
